Wireless interlinked smoke alarms fitted in London

Ensuring your buildings have more than adequate smoke alarms is vital to the safety of your tenants. Standard smoke alarms just aren’t good enough for a commercial property, while they may seem like a cheaper alternative, they have many problems.

  • Poor battery life
  • Over sensitivity meaning more false alarms
  • Poor design
  • Difficult to install and maintain
  • Hard wiring causes cost, inconvenience and delays

Wireless linked smoke alarms fix all those problems

We have recently started fitting battery operated interlinked smoke alarms into blocks of flats on behalf of freeholders of buildings and management agencies across London.

Our smoke alarm has been designed to give the earliest possible warning of fire via a network of wireless interlinked smoke alarms.

Each wireless interconnected smoke alarm communicates with others by continuously sending and receiving wireless signals creating a ‘meshed network.’ This ensures that all your alarms will trigger simultaneously in the event that a single unit detects slow smoldering or fast flaming fires giving your tenants ample time to raise the alarm, safety vacate the building and call the Fire Service.

Easy to install and mess free wireless linked smoke alarms

Installing traditional smoke alarms on a commercial site has been really expensive as it required hardwiring which not only took lots of time but ruined the look of your building unless you had all the wires hidden and then re-plastered and decorated, adding even more cost.

Our wireless smoke alarms are just that – wireless. So there is no cabling to install and hide. All the smoke alarms are interlinked to ensure that an alarm is heard right around your building no matter where the smoke or fire is coming from.

Key features include:

  • Sealed for life 10 year sensor and power pack
  • Smart Silence and locate feature – pressing the test/reset button on any alarm in the network will silence all but the initiating alarm
  • Up to 50 alarms can be linked in a single network
  • Wireless range up to 200m in clear sight (we recommend not to exceed 35m as the maximum direct distance between smoke alarms inside a property)
  • Two LED indicators
  • Low battery status of a single alarm communicated to all other alarms in the network
  • Easy to use, large, concave central button – ideally suited to the less able
  • Improved backing plate guarantees quick and easy fitting
  • 5 year warranty
  • Certified to EN14604:2005 and LPCB approved
